Treasurer
Because it seems to take Theoryspark a little too long to put them up on their website, i'm putting links for them here. For more info on the scenario's, look at "ABOUT SCENARIO" inside the scenario's folder. Take a look at the thread "Scenarios in the Planning Stages..." . I have a list of scenario's i'm going to do next. When i complete other scenario's in the future, they will be added to this post! Also, please tell me if the rapidshare links don't work and i'll renew them! Also, don't fear to PM me, and ask for a preview screenshot of the next scenario in progress when i get the map done, but i won't give you a uncompleted scenario though. I think you mean Scotland- 2007 scenario. I posted the link for it on "Scenarios that you may have" topic in the Canadian Forum?
extreme_right
Good job on these, the Birmingham one and the council one were both very good scenarios. Some constructive criticism if I may on the London councils one. I was playing as BNP, and I found that the cost of barnstorming was about double the starting initial funds. This also therefore made speeches and advertising impossible and even targeting difficult for prolonged periods. I think maybe the costs should be lowered (having stood for the council I know campaigning is done on a shoestring.) But good work, keep it up. Treasurer
Thanks for the feedback! Scenario money coefficient lowered to 30 for Greater London Local Election 2006. Also, minor change to Glasgow 1951. Display Name found an actual photo for Peter Kerrigan, plus it is the KING who choses the winner, not the Queen, as i had overlooked. Treasurer
SCENARIO IMPROVEMENT: After realising the Glasgow 1951 scenario is much too easy (Did a clean sweep of seats with Labour), i've made it harder. Lowered momentum on the 2 biggest newspapers by nearly a half, 100% momentum chance from certain events, lowered fundraising power and Labour and Conservative goals set to 9 seats and 50%. Try getting over 10 seats now! DL link has been renewed.

Maybe I should start my own thread to encourage myself to do more work... Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed them so far! I just thought putting the scenario's in one thread would make it less hassle to find stuff, and doesn't clog up the forum first page with my topics. extreme_right
I really like the Manchester one. One small point, the UKIP position of european constitution should be right, "we should withdraw from the european union" which is of course the key plank of their policies. Treasurer
The Welsh Assembly one? Yes. The most interesting Welsh Assembly election to date, despite no great change in seats overall, but a much bigger change on the political map with the Tories and Plaid more prominent. I'm having to do it from scratch because i haven't received Geraint's version. I made a slight mistake with jumbling up the issue numbers for UKIP candidate John Whittaker. Just swap the 5 for Environment with the 3 for European Constitution. I'm going to renew the Manchester one soon anyway.
Treasurer
Wales 2007 National Assembly Election now complete. Also, an update to the Manchester scenario with a new issue replacing another, which is Tuition Fees, as advised by Display Name, over more importance. It replaces Licensing Laws. I tried replacing it with N.1 Peace Process, but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Also, i'm going to make ALL candidates photos better quality for my scenarios. EDIT: Concerning the Wales scenario, if you feel there should be more parties included in it, and taken out of the independents such as Socialist Labour, Socialist Alternative or English Democrats, then ask me. These parties only stood in 1 region or 2. EDIT: All photos of candidates in ALL the availiable scenarios in the first post have been updated with clearer photo, large and small sizes. Some candidates photos have been changed as it suited the times better, or that photo wasn't availiable anymore. Some i have sharpened up myself, as they were irreplaceable. Also take note, the Lib Dem leadership scenario i have included with changed party scenario screens and different photos than before. graemp
EDIT: Concerning the Wales scenario, if you feel there should be more parties included in it, and taken out of the independents such as Socialist Labour, Socialist Alternative or English Democrats, then ask me. These parties only stood in 1 region or 2. Concerning all scenarios, I prefer to play when I can easily 'see' all of my opponents; There is nothing i find more iritating than having to scroll up and down the pages every time. The best way around this problem is to group all candidates into no more than 4 'party groups' This will usually mean putting all the odds and sods into a generic 4th party group. Unfortunately, this does not work for this scenario as Wales has 4 main parties. The next best thing is to then try and fit the odds and sods into 4 seperate groupings which would then be listed as parties No 5-8. Regarding UK scenarios featuring Northern Ireland from 1979 onwards, the game plays better if the Northern Ireland parties are split into no more than 4 groups which are arranged so that they always appear on the same page. This means making the Northern Ireland parties No 9-12 on the list.
Treasurer
Northern Ireland - Normalised has been uploaded, but it's unfinished, and oh yes, you'll need C4E. What i haven't done completely, is not much, but i still need to alternate stances of most candidates in the same party. Most candidates issue stances are loyal to the party, but not personalised, unless an obvious change is needed. ( A couple of Labour candidates lean towards a united Ireland, couldn't miss that out. http://rapidshare.com/files/155901601/Nort...NISHED.zip.html The scenario is candidate mad, and i've still to include more. The candidates are a mixture of local politicians, leaders, PM, and past leaders and PM's. Ones i'm still to include is: some combinations of co-leaderships of the Sinn Fein/SDLP Alliance, Martin McGuiness as sole leader, Peter Robinson as Labour leader, Nick Clegg as Lib Dem candidate, James Callaghan as a Labour candidate, David Steel as NI Lib dem leader, and maybe even more. Also, tinker about with the primary secondary vote conversion. This means making the Northern Ireland parties No 9-12 on the list. Well, some people like to play as the minor parties like the Greens, UKIP and BNP, and they are quite important in the British political make-up, that's why i included them in the Wales one, even if they haven't got any seats. I agree that the party list is a bit of a grievance, but i would rather hold out for Theoryspark to improve upon this function, with maybe a drop-down box? What i usually do, say for the London scenario, is include all the parties that had seats or won seats as selectable, and the rest under independent, regional parties went under Independent too. As for UK scenario's i just followed Theoryspark's lead on the parties list, but when i started off, i added even more, but i wouldn't do that now. But i know what you mean, i would say regional parties like the NI Alliance could be taken out, as they don;t have any seats, but then again, maybe somebody wants to play as them lol? Maybe John Alderdice plays this game lol? But seriously, in a UK scenario, i don't think i would take many parties out, if they are UK-wide, i like to show a fair view of the parties involved from all over the political spectrum. extreme_right
I'm getting an error on it: U.K. Independence Party is not a valid floating point value. This is playing as Conservative as the game is trying to load.
