Patine
I'm just fishing for possible interest and/or support for my possible project when I'm done the 1996 US election. The 1996 Russian Presidential Election was a pivotal election in the post-Cold War world, as the Communist cadidate came within 3 percent of Yeltsin before the run-off (how I'll do a run-off is beyond me at this point). The fact that Russia could have potential went back to Communism by voter choice is a significant theme historically of this election, and what makes it interesting. Whether Yeltsin would have actually handed the keys to the Kremlin to a Communist had he won, or caused constitutional trouble, is beyond the scope of this engine. Any thoughts on this idea? VoteGOP
A Russian election would be difficult since the fairness of them are usually questioned. Maybe theoryspark could add a fairness checker although I think the scenarios effected would be too small.
