  1. I asked this in a post in the Tips/Guides threads section and never saw replies, so I wanted to follow up on here. How can one truly dominate the opposition in games like Congress Infinity/Forever and the European/Canadian variants? I'm looking for good advice, not random bits of generic nonsense. True legend-level advice, stuff only veterans would know. If you can help out, please do. And please-don't waste yours/mine/everybody's time with stuff we all already know like Momentum or Focusing On Close races.
  2. Hello all, I'm trying to get some wisdom from the crowd on how to dominate in Senate/House runs for Congress Infinity. Extremely helpful information will be reposted in either blog posts or their own dedicated pages on the Wiki. Any help is appreciated, I will let you know if your help is re-posted. If you provide advice that applies to certain years or scenarios, please specify what year, what team, and how effective it is. If the advice is universal or general, please specify. If your advice can also apply to Congress Forever, please specify.
  3. I'd love to see a joint President/Congress Infinity game (2016 Infinity maybe?), where you can use the Party money you've raised for as the Presidential nominee for down-ballot races. While I don't have Congress Infinity yet, I think that this would add a whole different dimension to both games, and ensure a huge following. I know I'd buy this!!!

  5. I've noticed that the AI will criticise candidates even in seats where the opposing party doesn't have a candidate or it will criticise another party's candidate who's running unopposed and so would win the seat anyway. Also leaders can make gaffes even though they can't barnstorm. Another thing; economic indicators changed and it said that "Democratic is bad for economy" but it gave them positive momentum. Congress doesn't even show the economic indicators like games used to so I'm puzzled by this. It's not an event I made earlier as events don't work in CI. Hmm; I think I may have figured out the thing about the economy; in the scenario file (which I haven't edited) it says: target id="economy_boom" economy_target="5" chance="20" speed="normal"/> <target id="crash" economy_target="1" chance="20" speed="fast"/> <target id="normal" economy_target="3" chance="60" speed="slow"/> The speeds are wrong so they show up wrong. Crash should be slow and boom should be fast.
  6. If you couldn't tell from the title, what are your hopes for the possible game where you are the president? I for one am very much hoping for a completely interactive game with little time in between elections being too simulated even if you don't win the presidency yourself. Let’s say that I choose to play as a third party, I’ll go with the Green Party, and play through the entire election cycle, primaries and the general election, and I get to about 3-4%.I'd love the option to wait/play the 4 years and run again, with a larger base for the second attempt at the Presidency. (And for shits and giggles, if I get the 5% maybe I would get the federal funding?). If the game is integrated with President Infinity AND Congress Infinity (which I don’t know if it is planned, though it would be an interesting concept that I definitely would enjoy), I hope I could still take the Green Party through the elections in the mean time and run for different positions in Congress until the next general election. If it does end up fully integrated with CI, I wonder if you would have a personal character you are keeping afloat, or could you be invested in the party as a whole. I’m weirdly fixed on this I’ll admit, but I’d love to take the smaller parties (Green, Constitution, Libertarian, etc) and play them throughout various election cycles growing larger slowly, getting seats in Congress and whatnot, and then eventually President. I think that the possibilities are endless with this game concept, and I'm curious to what other people hope the game will be!
