  1. Then Campaigns Forever crashes.
  2. Since 80soft never implemented its "candidates can drop out of party primaries and run independently" feature, the only way I can see is by events. E.g. have the Progressive appear at start, but they're extremely weak, and then when the switch happens, the Progressives get strong. Of course the main issue is that you can't simulate the Republican primaries, but yeah.
  3. Well I fixed the glitch. Now a bigger problem (because it actually crashes Campaigns Forever): Simple Events >> issue >> Reference not found: issue business tax (Also does it for military funding, etc.) I fixed the previous one by simply giving the Democrats ballot access, majority in all states, governors, etc. then save, and then I removed the majority and governor bits. It 'cleans out' the data so to speak and brings in new data.
  4. Well I fixed the glitch. Now a bigger problem (because it actually crashes Campaigns Forever): Simple Events >> issue >> Reference not found: issue business tax (Also does it for military funding, etc.) Once I fix this, I'm basically ready to continue with making the rest of the scenario.
  5. I sent it to Matty. That should be all for now.
  6. Mike Gravel should be added in as a protest candidate. I'm aware Kucinich already fills that function, but Gravel had some effect on the primaries and was in the debates just like Kucinich. He is also fairly moderate and would make much more sense as the Democratic nominee. Basically, he'd be the Democratic Ron Paul much moreso than Kucinich, who mainly gets votes from the more labor and Green-esque factions of the party who feel the current Party isn't progressive. Also, Independent (Nader) and Green need to be in. I'd say Nader is the most well known and McKinney possibly the least, but the
  7. If I can find out how to fix the bug, the scenario becomes playable. In any case, if you want to look at the scenario with Campaigns Forever or something to fix it, feel free to either PM me or put your email here. (Assuming you can fix the bug or at least try)
  8. The bug persists, so the scenario is not playable. However, I can get issues stances. Hoover FDR
  9. If I can get the "Parties >> RegionInfo >> Alabama >> party with existing majority >> Reference not found: party democratic" thing fixed, I can continue.
  10. Except in this case, integrity, like charisma, leadership, etc. is generally how a person is seen by voters. An honest candidate could of got involved in a horrible scandal unwillingly, but their integrity would still suffer.
  11. Integrity represents corruption and such, not if someone stretches the truth or makes a few lies to win unless they do it at insane levels that no one takes them seriously anymore.
  12. 1 in integrity = candidate murdered someone or aided (as in literally) terrorists or something. Her integrity should be at 3. It'd be 4 except for Troopergate.
  13. 1 might be correct, but there should be some discussion on that first.
  14. I don't think FDR needs a very powerful crusader considering that Hoover's loss in 1932 was the largest in US history percentage-wise. So if I do add Long, he'll be in as a possible candidate. Anyone got a list of crusaders for FDR and (more importantly) Hoover? So far I only have their wives.
  15. I think that doesn't fall under charisma, it falls under issue knowledge. She's decently charismatic I guess (should get a 3), but issue familiarity should be at 2.
  16. As a note: Parties >> RegionInfo >> Alabama >> party with existing majority >> Reference not found: party democratic How does one fix this? And how does one elevate the importance of a particular issue?
  17. Parties >> RegionInfo >> Alabama >> party with existing majority >> Reference not found: party democratic Etc. How does one fix this?
  18. True. Roosevelt himself IIRC only really spoke about improving the living conditions of blacks. But do you have anything else to replace it with? Also, how do you modify issue levels? (As in, which ones are viewed more important than others) How should taxes be handled? These are current stances; * Taxes will become unnecessary under my proposed economic model! (For Communist Party and such) * Promote progressive taxation to create a more equal society. * Economic growth will allow increased taxes on high-income earners which will further benefit the economy. * Current taxes are fine. * R
  19. The Socialist, Communist, Prohibition, Socialist-Labor, Farmer-Labor, National and Jobless parties will be in, yes. I'll also have Democratic and Republican candidates in primaries, even if the Republicans will be unable to defeat Hoover. I, too, am a fan of third-parties so long as they play a realistic role in a scenario and don't get 5% of the vote on election night for no reason.
  20. League of Nations Italy Japan Soviet Union Western Europe Americas Taxation Federal Debt Housing Tariffs Regulation Poverty Labor Prohibition Agriculture Education Civil Rights Military Good?
  21. Okay, so, I'm going to spread out the Great Depression into a variety of issues such as housing, taxation, tariffs, regulation, etc. I'll also include issues like the League of Nations, Italy, Japan, and the Soviet Union. Good? But what should the stances be on stuff like Japan, tariffs, housing, etc.?
