  1. I reactivated my subscription to a couple 270soft games, and I'm really enjoying the improvements since I last played these games, but yeah, what happened to the spacebar function? why was it replaced with the "n" key? It might sound like a small thing, but I'm so used to navigating the game and moving forward through turns by pressing the spacebar.
  2. @Patine would you be so kind to e-mail this to me at klen7000@hotmail.com ? Thanks a bunch!
  3. I just saw it in the new update, or was it something I installed before?
  4. Great scenario, thanks! This is just as good as those Premier Forever games a while back! Though when I try to access the leaders page of the Campaign Editor, it crashes and I can't edit it properly. I get this error... Could this be fixed?
  5. I can't seem to edit the candidates for the scenarios in Congress infinity anymore, how do you do this?
  6. What with the Australian election coming up in the next two months, I thought it would be prudent to ask.
  7. I think my ideal scenario would be to get appointed by the Governor after an incumbent Senator dies/resigns in a safe state. I wouldn't have to worry about fundraising too much and would be easily re-elected, hence being able to enjoy myself. It might just play out like that 90s movie "The Distinguished Gentleman" starring Eddie Murphy.
  8. There seems to be some graphical issues appearing on PMI UK, at least for me. Parts of the openable tabs in the game are glitchy looking. Am I the first to have this happen to?

    Australia 2004

Got this message when I tried to play it: http://s30.postimg.org/mohqksmdd/ffffffffff.png
  10. The Canadian Greens under Jim Harris were pretty Conservative for, well, being a Green Party. The U.S. and Australian Greens are the farthest pure left parties, I believe.
  11. Yeah, same. I've met quite a few politicians, though, given that I live in a pretty swing-y BC riding. Trudeau, Harper (who was actually really a nice guy), and Kim Campbell are all on my lists. Oh, and a few months ago I also met the runner up to the 2012 South Korean Presidential election. What a weird happenstance thing that was.

    Donald Trump?

Perhaps I'm thinking too deep and conspiratorially, but I just can't help but shake the feeling that Trump is a Clinton plant. They were great friends, and the Clintons attended his wedding. Heck, 16 years ago in 2000 when he was gearing up for a Reform party run, he was closer to Bernie Sanders then anything else. Single payer healthcare, higher taxes on the rich, pro choice, etc. Donald Trump is deeper and smarter than he obviously is letting on to. The man is a genius, and possibly an evil genius at that. Then again, it probably doesn't take much to tap into the well of conservative anger. Reminds me of the late and great Enoch Powell more than anything.
  13. Lincoln, obviously. Though I have to wonder how much new land the US would have gotten if Seward was elected.

    2nd Dem Debate

I have to say I really liked the setup/moderator of this debate. I don't know if it's because it was on CBS, but it seemed far more sober of a discussion. The set was low-key and didn't have bright colored lights behind the candidates or a huge Air Force One in the background. But anyway, I think Sanders did really well this time. He definitely improved from last debate.
  15. Many moons ago there was a game called "Election Day" that was made by a professor named John Gastil. It was like that, where, you could save a candidate, and move up from School Board to President. Neat game, too bad it's been mothballed. It's super hard to find, but it might be up your alley, if you can get your hands on it.
  16. Just now saw this - Very neat scenario, I'm glad I helped. You really nailed the strengths of where a given party would do well. It would be really quite neat if someone did a US + Canada election scenario. Quite a bit of work would be needed for that, however.
  17. @RI Democrat, Would you perhaps have exported this into a processor like Excel or an equivalent? If you could attach it in this thread, that would be really great.
  18. I believe you would have to manually go through all the ridings and put in the New Party, in addition to the party screen.
  19. Merci! Hopefully a update with that contained will be coming soon.
  20. Oh boy, imagine this scenario in real life. The party with the largest number of votes getting third place in seats, while the last party in terms of votes get's to form the government? Yikes. I can only imagine the number of people who would be disenfranchised with the process... I'm sure proportional representation would be a new found priority for the Tories.
  21. Those are the alternate leaders you can pick, they came with the newest update. The Tories have Jason Kenney, Peter MacKay, and Lisa Raitt. The NDP has Brian Topp, Nathan Cullen, and Peggy Nash. Then the Liberals have Marc Garneau as an alt. And finally the Greens have Gord Miller as their only alt leader.
  22. @anthony_admin Yeah, PI is really lightning fast. PMI - Canada is also pretty good speed wise.
  23. Do you have Prime Minister Infinity: Canada? You should definitely make this for that game, I do not think it would be a whole lot of new work.
