  1. What about Ryan Leef? He won the Yukon seat in 2011. There was also Erik Nielsen who represented Yukon as a Progressive Conservative from 1957 to 1987.

CBC poll tracker also has the race very tight in popular support, but still have the CAQ ahead in seats. https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/qcvotes/poll-tracker/

I removed a news article link I included. I forgot this wasn't allowed. Sorry

    PEI 2015

Back in the early days of the board, there was discussion about a PEI scenario. I remember a couple of editors arguing over which one would make it, and in the end I don't think it was ever finished. I still have the map they were using on my computer, but considering how old it is, this new map in the scenario is much better. I'm going to try scenario when I get a chance.
  5. I don't know if anyone ever finished it, but there was some discussion about a Prince Edward Island scenario, back in the early days of the board. I also remember talk in the early days about a Newfoundland and Labrador scenario, but not sure if that one was ever finished either. Being from Atlantic Canada, these are scenarios I would like to see made, but don't know how much interest there would be from others.
  6. Sorry, didn't know it was a problem not to log in. Only ever did if I had something to post, but I always checked out what was going on because I have purchased many games over the years. In the future, I'll still come to the board, but only if I have a specific reason and I will log-in before I read anything. Thanks for letting us know.
  7. Hi Patine, I'm good at coming up with ideas, not so great when I try to put them together. My idea at the time was Cape Breton as a province, starting with 2006 election. I came up with 26 ridings, a lot of candidates and leaders, but never came up with a campaign that was any good or one that was anywhere close to being finished. Same thing with Maritime Union, I've been throwing that idea around going back to the early days of this forum. So basically, I'm just playing around with the campaign editor, not creating anything that would be worth posting.
  8. I downloaded the scenario not noticing who made it, but once I saw the logos, maps, etc., I knew it had to be Saskguy. Going back many years, he's the best I've seen when it comes to those items. I struggled for two years trying to make a map of Cape Breton, but couldn't figure it out, so I asked Saskguy for help, and the next day I had the map. As for the scenario, I never really played it yet, just clicked through but it looks pretty good. A quick question for Saskguy. I've tried playing around with the campaign editor, and the current version doesn't allow for the fundamental regions to be
  9. I know I shouldn't be bothering people with a question like this, but there is something I want to clarify just to make sure. I was playing around with the campaign editor, and I know that regions can't be removed in the current version. Does that mean that any scenario created for the time being has to have 19 regions? I was aiming for just 8 regions, can they be removed manually? I tried that but just kept messing things up. Like I said, I'm just playing around so it's not a big deal. Just figured I ask rather than keep trying to do something that may not even be possible. Thanks. I guess I
  10. On the front page of the Globe and Mail from May 23, 1997, there is a headline "Manning calls rivals unity threat". In the article it mentions that Reform begain airing the ads "yesterday". So if this is what you are looking for, than the ads began airing May 22.
  11. Believe it or not, this is actually the headline on the PDF version I have on my computer.
  12. I'm not sure if this helps or not, but I just took a quick look back at The Globe and Mail headlines throughout the campaign and these were the headlines on the front page for several of the days. October 24 "Court lifts spending limit on third-party election ads" "Riot police turn back Montreal protesters" October 25 "Clark turns to Mulroney" "TSE star Nortel battered" October 28 "Air India suspects charged" October 30 "Election will test support for sovereignty: Parizeau" October 31 Alliance supports two-tier health care" November 1 "Medicare debate boils over" November 8 "B
  13. I agree, it wouldn't make much sense to group the two parties together as "Others", as the scenario wouldn't be realistic, but I'm not sure if that was what he meant to begin with. It's posible that he was just listing the names of the other parties in the election, not actually joining them as one. However, if they are being grouped together, I would suggest that the scenario would be more appealing if all parties were included.
