  1. I would like to make some scenarios of old elections (1976 and 1980 come to mind) but finding the issue positions of candidates such as Mo Udall, Birch Bayh, and Harold Baker, among others, is quite hard. How do other people remedy this? Is there some site that has all positions? I know 4president.org has some old campaign brochures, but those don't have everything...
  2. Yes it does. Sorry, I forgot about the help file. Thanks!
  3. In Campaigns Forever, under the Region Info, what does "Has majority in region" mean? It says I can't go on without each party having one, but I don't know what it means. I was assuming Senate, but some states have 1 Democrat and 1 Republican. Any help concerning this would be much appreciated.
  4. Hi, I am trying to make some scenarios from different years (1988, 1976, etc) but when I keep trying, something goes wrong. Is there a list that somebody has/would be willing to make that details all the places where the year needs to be changed in the scenario folder? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I have a suggestion (and I know it might have already been mentioned, but here goes anyway). Would it be possible to, after dropping out, being able to "watch" the rest of the primaries and continue the scenario as your party's nominee. I hate dropping out and then just having the game quit. I don't know whether this would be feasible though...
  6. Is there any information on when P4E+P scenarios will be posted on 80soft.com?
  7. Nice, although Adams was a Federalist which, at the time of Adams and Jefferson, was the opposition to Jefferson's Democrat-Republican (modern day Democratic) party. I would suggest taking Adams off and adding Polk and Buchanan (hey, he was terrible, but it'd be fun to try to win as him). Just my two cents...
  8. I downloaded the update, and it says on my game windown that I have Version, yet when I go to the scenarios I still have the default 2008 with Warner, no Obama or Vilsack, etc... Did I do something wrong?
  9. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I meant the national %s for the general election, not the primary. Thanks for the other response though.
  10. I have a question. How does one change the national percentages? I am trying to make a new scenario using the 2004 scenario as my base, but I would like to change the %s for everything. Any help on this would be appreciated.
  11. Do the percentages (of all the candidates for one state) all have to add up to 100% when entering them in the editor?
  12. Every time I try to edit a candidate, an error message comes up when I try to play with them. For instance, when I added Obama to 2008, I edited Mark Warner to be Obama and tweaked the %s a bit but made sure that they all added up to 100%. That triggered an "Access Violation at address 004BC4DA in module 'p4e.exe'. Read of address 00000077." when I tried to play with Obama in the game. The same thing kept happening, but not just with Obama. I also tried to add Jim Gilchrist to the Constitution Party and it gave me that message (or something similar to it) and also just when I opened my 200
