Bumping an old thread, really, but just a few things: I found that the primaries were for some reason impossible. I literally carpet-bombed the country with ads, most of which were positive ads for me - yet the more I advertised, the worse my momentum became. In desperation before Super Tuesday, I ran down $25,000,000 in advertising spending over two weeks. Result? My momentum went from -2.3 to -10.1 (yes, negative).
