Canadian or Australian version?

Recommended Posts

Should we still use the Canadian version? (game, not scenario)

Why were they broken into 2 programs and not only one?

(I know, this topic is mostly for our beloved game designer, but anybody still can give their 2 cents)

IMHO, once the british election is done, they should release one "super-program" that allows you to play any of the scenario's offered. even a combo of them (presidential, senatoral, congressional; all at the same time)

The Australian engine runs into difficulties when you try to play a scenario with less than four parties. So if you want to try your luck with any old custom scenarios that have three parties or fewer, you'll still need the Canadian version (though I'd be surprised if this feature of the Australian engine isn't fixed up at some point in the future).

Hi Cycloneprime,

As Cerebral Assassin has noted, the Australian version has some difficulties when playing with less than 4 parties. We are aware of this, and will issue a fix shortly. The Canadian scenario that is included with the Australian version has some game play differences (because there are party relations in the Australian version) from the Canadian version.

Thanks,

Anthony Burgoyne
