  1. 1. Read my first comment below to see Taft's career: How would you rate his career as a US Senator?

  2. 2. Robert Taft would have made a better president than the following:

    • FDR
    • Harry S Truman
    • Dwight D. Eisenhower
    • None of the above
  3. 3. How is Robert Taft remembered most?

    • Leader of the Conservative wing of the WWII/Early Cold War GOP (anti-New Deal, isolationists).
    • Opposing entry into WWII and entry into the United Nations, and also US role in NATO, Marshall Plan, etc.
      0
    • The Taft-Hartley bill which significantly weakened Labor Unions and other organized labor.
    • As a failed candidate for the GOP nomination on three occasions.
    • As one of the Big Three Senators of the early 20th Century, according to scholars, along with Robert La Follette and Robert F. Wagner.

Add getting stuck in a bathtub to 3 (idc if it's a myth or not it's still what hes remembered for) and I'll vote

Considering that was someone completely different, who served as President, probably for the best you don't vote.

And it's more of a myth than a real story anyway.
