Ah, yes, @Wiw with his "comic book supervillain" portrayal of Donald Trump and he is single-handedly the cause, reason, and mastermind of all that is wrong in the world today, and that all resources and efforts should be monomaniacally focused on removing him from power, because EVERYTHING will suddenly be so better then. His usual highly distorted narrative on things. But let's pour some cold water and put things in perspective. I am ABSOLUTELY no fan of Trump, but he clearly he is NOT the cause or source of the great problems plaguing the world, or even just the U.S. today. He is a SYMPTOM of a greater disease, and the kind of rhetoric you and @Actinguy have on the issue pretty much fails to acknowledge this greater disease to focus on a specific symptom (a hallmark of Victorian-age medicine as opposed to modern medicine), and thus the rot and cancer of society and the whole systems of culture, media, governance, and the viewpoints of people that are viciously forming divided lines chomping at the bit for blood will carry on as strong and underaddressed as ever, and everything that produced Trump, and the equally virulent, destructive, and ruinous elements on the "other side" (I use quotation marks because binaries in these matters are ALWAYS highly inaccurate, distorted, counter-productive, forced, artificial, and never do good and always do harm as reference points) will carry on unabated, even without Trump in power, and the death spiral of civilization to a global Dark Age in the foreseeable future will march on inexorably.

My God, that's not what I meant by my words at all! 😱 Although since you put it like that, maybe THAT should be the number one crisis! I will accept that I used my own hot rhetoric if it makes you feel better, but if you felt that threatened by my words, how do you think I feel now that we can't even agree on our future?
