2020 Election Poll

21 members have voted

  1. 1. Who is most likely to defeat Trump in 2020 if they are the Democratic nominee?

  2. 2. If you were forced to bet all of your money and possessions on one candidate has the winner of the 2020 election, it would be:

    • Donald Trump
    • The Democratic Nominee (whoever you think it will ultimately be)
  3. 3. If Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz runs as a 3rd party, then I would put all my money and possessions on:

    • Donald Trump
    • The Democratic Nominee (whoever you think it will ultimately be)
    • Howard Schultz

If Bernie becomes the Democratic nominee i'm gonna take out a big-ass student loan and use the money on a PredictIt Odds site on Trump winning, so if Trump wins, I become rich and if Bernie wins that loan is forgiven.

Someone find a fault in my get-rich-quick scheme. Pro Tip: You can't.

Maybe growing up and getting a sense of perspective on life would be a better tactic to prosperity and betterment than Saturday morning cartoon character schemes. Also, you are aware that "get rich quick schemes" don't tend to keep you rich long? Or maybe you didn't know that. And they don't buy you common sense and life skills. In other words, get a grip!

This is hilarious, but here is the fault: you can only bet a maximum of $850 on a single item, such as "who will win the 2020 election."  Assuming approximately 50/50 odds by the time Sanders becomes the nominee (maybe even worse, it the general consensus agrees with your assessment), you're only going to make about an $850 profit off of your $850 loan.  Minus fees.

Actually -- it's been a while since I played around on there, but I think you could also put $850 on "Not Bernie Sanders" if he's the nominee.  So you could theoretically make about $1700 minus fees.

Hilarious? You are far too easily amused. But I think I've mentioned earlier about the demise and devaluation, for the most part, of American comedy since the turn of the 21st Century. It's just almost never funny anymore, but moreso offputting, lame, or even stupid, at least in my opinion.

I am relaxed. What makes you think otherwise. Do you believe I am incapable of stating any opinion without being in an apoplectic state of fury?

I know you hate all American comedy, so I imagine you're not a Saturday Night Live fan.  Let me introduce you to a character you remind me of:

Every comment is "Americans are stupid sheep" or "Americans are not funny."  Fine, great, noted.  You don't have to say it 30 times a day.  We hereby acknowledge that your point of view exists and will never waiver.

Again, you misread what I said. You have a bad habit of doing that. I said MOST American comedy AFTER THE TURN OF THE 21ST CENTRURY. This is NOT the first time you've misread something I've said and tried to use your mistaken premise to criticize me. It is very clumsy of you.

Good tactic if the Congress was filled with Democratic Socialists. Otherwise, you might be screwed. I don't think his idea would pass (as much as I'd want it to pass) even if Democrats had a veto-proof House and Senate.

Well shit, but there's gotta be at least like a dozen or so other Vegas odds sites or something.

SNL isn't something I always find real funny but that was good. Lost it at the Ted Bundy crack.

Haha -- this one is actually my favorite clip, mostly because nobody can keep a straight face.  I know some people hate it when they crack on SNL but I love it.

Oh gosh. Lindsay Lohan dates the clip far more than anyone else. Dang.

I agree about them cracking though! Jimmy Fallon is one of my favorite former cast members from SNL partly because he always cracks, he still does as a talk show host but sometimes have a hard time telling if its genuine or not. Regardless I enjoyed him on SNL especially.

"Un-Canadian?" We don't use totalitarian, Orwellian, socio-political-agenda-and-propaganda-driven term to force specific ideals and viewpoints it's whole population's throats as "Un-<National Demonym." In fact, no nation which has a guaranteed list of inalienable rights of conscience and belief (like the U.S. does) has ANY legitimate place using such a term in any way backed or endorsed by it's government AT ALL.
