I'll get back to this either very late tonight or tomorrow. I've got a lot of other projects and grading going on right now.

Cooper, looking for the most viable moderate, endorses Klobuchar and encourages Blue Dogs to back her bid.

Holder, in an attempt to nominate a strong minority candidate, endorses Obama and extols her as the perfect fit to be the  first black woman to attain the office of Vice President or even to just be nominated for it.

In a surprise move, Sanders announces he has no interest in the VP nomination and instead endorsed Jeff Merkely.

Klobuchar endorses Sinema, but some of her delegates that want a more seasoned candidate for Vice-President shift to Merkley.

The Democrats fail to get a "Convention Bounce" due to the highly contentious proceedings, the fact that the Nominee had not won a single primary, and the fact that Kennedy's acceptance speech would likely be given well past Primetime.

VP Nomination and the General Election

Sinema is nominated for VP following Klobuchar's endorsement. For the sake of party unity, Merkley endorses Sinema.

JPK/Sinema 2020 becomes the youngest presidential ticket in US History and represents the future against an ancient Trump/Pence ticket.

While there isn't a Convention bounce, the youthful and energetic ticket manages to bring much more excitement than the bland 2016 ticket of Clinton/Kaine.

The Election Day polls show the following result as most likely:

You should do the 2008 dem and gop as well as the 2012 and 2016 gop

Maybe if I have more time. Great ideas. It's rather easy to do it.

1. Write down all the states with the number of delegates that they have.

2. Place all the candidate with their states. The candidates get all their state delegates if they are the only person from their state in the running, and if they are also not a minor candidate (like a mayor, US Rep, or non-politician).

3. States without a candidate will send most of their delegates to the candidate(s) that is most ideologically similar to them, and then the other delegates going to the candidate(s) with the highest name recognition.

4. You post the first ballot and let us suggest movements.

5. The convention can nominate or renominate candidates, can pass a measure to move from 2/3 delegates for nomination to 1/2 delegates for nomination, can pass a measure to limit the number of candidates

6. Fringe delegates can abstain or delegates can abstain from a fringe candidate.

This said, let us have someone else do one of these Conventions.
