I wanted to define a few terms before we delve into a few of the topice we can discuss where I think we will find common ground.

First term to define is how do you define "the top 1%" because more than 1% of the country makes 250,000 or more, and more than 1% makes a million or more per year. Either are fairly easy numbers to attain in todays economy if you work hard and lift youself out of poverty. So are we only talking about mega millionaires or are we talking about 10 million or more. Before we dive in I think we should define that term. Anyone can go invest in real estate and achieve 250k and live comfortably. So that isnt really a 1% thing I know literally thousands of people that have that much money....out of that only about 8% are millionaires but.....its much higher than 1%. If you speak only of the jeff Bezos, bill gates and the late Steve Jobs of the world, then yes its probably slightly more or less than 1%. So that term is important. Give me some feedback on that and I want to have a serious issues discussion since everyone thinks I am a big mean ogre that cant have a civil economics discussion.
