I occasionally watch Colbert but find it to be annoyingly too much anti-Trump

Bill Maher is the epitome of smug coastal Liberal elitism, totally out of touch with the majority of the American populace, and even holding contempt for poor people.

I agree. I don't think I've even watched his show once, though.

I haven't owned a television for over a decade.

The Daily Show doesn't get my endorsement, but I normally catch a bit of it from hold over from South Park. Normally takes about 10 minutes or so for me to actually turn it so I guess that's watching.

I didn't own TV with channels (had one for video games) from 2001-2014. I still don't watch TV very much. I have it now mainly for video games and netflix.

None.  From about 9 pm on, I’m either watching some serial killer Netflix show with my wife or playing video games.

I don’t watch any of these on anywhere close to a regular basis.

It doesn't have to be on a regular basis. I only watch John Oliver and Desus and Mero on a somewhat regular basis; the rest I watch less often.

I currently have just a Netflix and Prime account, but I either listen to the podcast version of their shows, or catch the highlights on youtube- which I feel is close enough.

I hate him for the exact same reason- essentially every conservative stereotype towards liberals personified in one man. However, I watch his show since it is the only place where you will see: Trump supporting Republicans, liberal Democrats, and intellectuals sit at a table and debate on politics.

The range of opinions presented on Maher's shows, and to a further extent all of the Mainstream Media, is extremely limited in scope, the farthest left guest he's had on repeatedly has been Bernie Sanders, who is by all accounts a very moderate politician. Sure there may be minor disagreements between the guests, I'm not saying Jon Favreau, and Matt Welch are in complete agreement, but the disagreements are, relatively mild. Yeah that is why I said "liberal Democrat". It is a minor gripe I have on how liberalism is painted as "the left", and wished more media outlets gave more airtime to the further left. Granted I see this could be changing- as younger voters have been moving more to the left, and forcing many to reevaluate how we define the political spectrum. 538, while back, debated on what is the difference between 'liberal', 'progressive', and 'socialist'; and which label should go to which Democratic politician?

In that light (applying to candidates of the Democratic Party of the United States), it should be Liberal, Progressive, and Social Democratic - there are no actual, true Socialists of any volition or visibility in the Democratic Party, and CERTAINLY no Communists, despite all the slander and mudslinging by uninformed, incendiary Fox News talking heads - but there are also a few Moderates and even (among the Blue Dog faction) "soft" Conservatives.
