I'd reluctantly vote for Warren even though she's to the right of me, but a SocDem is better that a centrist neo-liberal, or even worse a crypto-fascist, though I'm doubtful she'd be able to beat Trump.

Is there any elected official you'd support for President if Warren is to the right of you?

I imagine McCarthy's blatantly unconstitutional White Terror that tried to "decide" for all Americans what ideologies were and were not "appropriate" for them to embrace arbitrarily, paternalistically, unilaterally, and - I might add, quite tyrannically - kind of drove those he would support out of contention through dirty pool social engineering tactics.

No I'm actually legitimately curious if @WVProgressive knows of some smaller name elected officials that he follows. For example, Councilwoman Kshama Sawant (S-WA) who was elected to the Seattle City Council under the banner of the Socialist Alternative Party.

I believe Eugene Debs and Henry Wallace were the two TRULY, HONESTLY far-left wing candidates who got any appreciable traction in a U.S. Presidential election (even though neither got EV's - but since I consider the EC a HIGHLY flawed system, THAT'S not as big a deal to me in terms of showing of support), regardless of "name-calling" toward certain U.S. Presidents and candidates by right-wing pundits, analysts, commentators, and politicians.

Sanders I guess, but he's probably the furthest right I could go. I don't have a lot of faith in Worker liberation through bourgeois  "democracy", though so there's that. Also Warren isn't some far-left "looney", she is not anti-capitalist, nor is she left-wing.

Yeah Sawant's good. There's also Lee Carter (D-VA), and Judge Franklin Bynum(D-TX), to name a few, but most socialist (correctly) view the current so-called democracy of the United States with suspicion, viewing it, to quote V.I. Lenin, as "Democracy for an insignificant minority, democracy for the rich - that is the democracy of capitalist society."- Vladimir I Lenin, 'The State and Revolution' chapter five, The Economic Basis Of The Withering Away Of The State.

Love how everyone said no on 2

I haven't yet taken the time to consider the situation, do some research, and vote yet.
