Which Johnson? Gary said he wasn't ever running again.

Also, I disagree with Trump's integrity rating, more due to its relativity with the other candidates. I see Avenatti as much more without integrity than Trump in general, as Trump's integrity is situational.

Dwayne "Rock" Johnson (a what if candidate)

I think Trump has a much longer history of bad integrity---womanizing, carrying on affairs, a history of routine lying supported by fact checking, scamming people with his failed Trump University and other similar projects, his association with numerous indicted people, racist, bigoted, misogynist statements, and more. With the exception of David Duke, I don't think there is a candidate with lower integrity. I feel like I'm being generous with the integrity I have him at. Really, he should be the mark for the lowest integrity. This isn't even assuming he is guilty of collusion. Avenatti is bad, I agree, but his pile isn't nearly as high. I need to be convinced to move Trump up. Give me alternative politicians that would have lower integrity than Trump, I can probably match something that Trump did + worse. For Trump, it's not just the "quality" of his low integrity, it's the quantity.

The word "legendary," in it's common, proper usage, strongly implies people who don't live today, haven't lived in living memory, and PROBABLY have never lived, but only exist as iconography of a concept or in romanticized or mythologized historiography.

That's probably for the best.

@Patine That is true about "legendary" but I think it applies in how romanticized our history can become. "Superhuman" might be an alternate word to use.

I've started to update the 2020 scenario. It might be a week until it comes out, however.

Leadership: I see no real complaints there.

Experience: I might move Harris up to 4 or 5 considering her experience as AG of California, and DA of San Francisco .

Integrity: Im not sure if this is my personal views towards Wall Street or not, but I'm torn if Booker should be a bit lower or stay at 5.

Issue knowledge: No real complaints.

Charisma: Again I see no real complaints.

Stamina: Im torn if Beto should be an 8 for simply visiting nearly all 200+ counties of Texas.

Debate: Rubio should be much lower! His biggest moment from 2016 is Chris Christie mocking his canned responses.

All in all, a pretty good list.

Speaking of Avenatti’s integrity.

I’ve got him at a 2 in my version which is still running the old version. I’m probably going to change it to a 1 in the 0-10 system.

That probably means he won't run. Good. I'll turn him off.

Thank god honestly - he always seemed to be a massive scumbag and I was worried he'd actually get support.

Me too. Although, I think his personality (outside his ideology) attracts Republicans more than Democrats. Democrats tend to favor finesse politicians more often than not.

He adopted the Trump-like strategy of trying to be in the news as often as possible, even when it's for absurd things. His (possibly manufactured) allegations against Kavanaugh probably hurt the anti-Kavanaugh case more than anything.

Strangely for such a tactic being promoted, I've never heard of him in the news, or even outside of these forums. And here in Canada, as I pointed out in the post with @Reagan04's mysterious tapes that would destroy three Senators possible chances of victory that were also supposedly "all over the new,' we get a huge amount of the American political news spam - we aren't cut off and isolated from it at all...

He went quiet after Kavanaugh, but during the Stormy Daniels stuff over the summer and allegations against Kavanaugh in October and late September he was everywhere on American news networks giving interviews and trying to set himself up as the main legal threat to Trump.

Well, the way the Kavanaugh hearing was conducted in general disappointed and disgusted me. Such a hearing about such a serious allegation falling largely, with only a few exceptions, on party lines and nepotistic closing of ranks than any REAL attempt to discern or even desire evidence or truth shows, in a microcosm, the abysmal low of the U.S. partisan system and how it's thoroughly tainted every aspect of American society, even those where it should be most unwelcome.

I completely agree with this assessment of it.

Let it be known that those 3, Heitkamp, McCaskill, and Bredesen, did lose 😛

But my point at the time was also very true, and several U.S. posters said right after they, too, hadn't heard those tapes mentioned in the news.

If it’s the usual garbage from Project Veritas and O’Keefe then I’ve heard of it, though I wasn’t aware they had one against Bredesen. Iirc all the interviews that supposedly showed the SECRET EVIL HIDDEN LIBERALISM of the candidates were with random low level staffers in heavily Democratic areas and really didn’t mean anything.
