1874 UK Map needed

Recommended Posts

I finally bought the PM Infinity. I'll make an 1874 UK General Election if someone can make the map. I'd like to make all the Victorian era elections at some point.

I have a map that an old scenario maker used for a United Kingdom 1910 election back for PM4E2008. Since all constituencies were strictly based on ceremonial county lines until after the Second World War, and the map I have is largely divided by ceremonial counties (at least in England - Scotland, Wales, and Ireland are divided into somewhat bigger units), it should still be workable. I could also send you some ceremonial county flags, but, as it seems I've discovered Anthony at some point changed the needed dimensions of cropping (see my recent thread entitled "Grrrr" that he has yet to respond to), which may retroactively affect the flags I sent you for those historical PI scenarios too - but I can send them anyways as well.

All of this is appreciated. I'll use those flags too.

Just sent the zip file with what it appears you're asking for and need. If anything is required, let me know.

@Patine

The map is kinda funky. The water is red in parts. I'm wondering if someone in this forum can make a new one, since that map for the old version doesn't translate well in PM Infinity.

If @Patine Were to send me the materials I'd try.

@NYrepublican did you download this map?

@Patine Never realized the MP seats have mostly changed, merged, unmerged, etc. Slowly slogging through and changing these. I finished all those that started with "A." I've also added some endorsers for the places that start with "A." I'm wondering, once I can get a more polished map (hopefully through NYRepublican), if it will be easy to place all the new MP seats into the map.

Update: Now finished with all the A and B seats. I have about 5 endorsers from these seats as well so far.

It seems the only issues are with Ireland's borders which I'm now fixing.

Ok thanks. For whatever reason the colors were all messed up as well. maybe fixing these borders will help with that?

Update: Finished the seats that start with C, and added more endorsers. The map is better. There's still some strange colored lines between some districts.

Please point out where and I'll correct it.

I just checked every single pixel to get rid of it. This took hours.

Update: All seats beginning with the letters A through D have now been created. It seems as if only about 10% of the seats are still extant as of 2017.

What do you intend to do for the two member seats?
