Benjamin_Franklin_by_Joseph_Duplessis_1778.jpg

Benjamin Franklin (Independent), 1st President of the United States of America, 1st Term: April 30th, 1789 - April 17th, 1790 (Died in office)

Half-length portrait of a man with a hint of a smile. His handsome features suggests that he is in his 30s, although he wears an off-white wig in the style of an English gentleman that makes him appear older. His dark suit has fancy embroidery.

John Hancock (Federalist), 1st Vice President of the United States of America, 1st Term: April 21st, 1789 - April 17th, 1790 (Succeeded to the Presidency)

Wasn't Jefferson already starting to succumb to senility and under the almost constant care of his daughter by this point? This would be almost like Reagan being elected in the mid-90's, if I recall correctly.
