I'm really disappointed seeing all these slave owners and pro-slavery politicians get so many votes. I don't think that just because something was "okay" and accepted by society back then that we should just excuse and overlook their horrible actions AND glorify them as "great" Americans. If they were really "great", they should have known right from wrong, even if the rest of society didn't know it yet. (And if anybody notices me voting for someone who owned slaves, please call me out on it. I've tried to make sure to not vote for anyone who has.)
