Aaron Burr? Wasn't he a bit... unhinged? And I notice you chose Rutledge too (see my reservations above).

He's a notorious figure in American history and politics.  I'm not looking for who I agree with the most.  Rather, I'm looking for those with a significant impact on America.

@jvikings1 @vcczar I think Burr is underrated. He was a major figure in creating the Northern faction of the Jeffersonian Republicans, which is more of a true antecedent to the current Democratic Party than the Jeffersonian faction is. Burr, as any Northerner would, favored internal improvements and such. He also thought slavery should be abolished. Had he been president, I think he would have modernized the presidency ahead of time, but in a way that wouldn't be offensive to some Southerners as he would have appealed to the people, rather than appeal by authority as JQ Adams did.

I highly recommend reading Burr by Gore Vidal.

At least three more votes needed. I'm interested how this goes as each nomination pool increases. Anyone that makes it through 10 ballots, but doesn't get inducted, will be available as a "Veteran Nominee" at some point.

Would it be any easier to create, answer, and keep track of our ballots if you used google forms?

I'd prefer to just do it on here. I'm keeping track of the stats on my computer. I just need one more vote for this ballot to move to the next one.

I barely know anything about most of the ones left on the list, and of the ones I do for sure, Gallatain MAYBE would get my vote.

I should have put the first names. I meant to do that and forgot to put them in. Maybe @ThePotatoWalrus will vote.
