2018 Senate Scenerios

Recommended Posts

@admin_270

I was just wondering which Senate campaigns are going to be added to the game (if it's just Florida or if other close races will be inserted).

If you were going to do more, I wanted to express my interest in Missouri.  It's looking like it could be one of the closest races (plus I'd like to play a race that I'm involved in 😛).

I'd prefer a comprehensive CI scenario with primaries, Third Parties and Independents, well-thought-out updated issues, caucusing/coalition rules, party candidate dissent on the party view on the White House, etc., instead of a bunch of PI scenarios on the topic, myself. That would be my preference.

I just looked up the Missouri race. Why is Austin Peterson running as a Republican? I had actually had respect for his political convictions and independence, and now he, like so many other promising strong, independent, grassroots voices in U.S. politics has also seemed to sell out to the Duopoly. It's really disappointing. The Republican and Democratic Parties of the United States and their firm (and, in a number of ways no lawmakers or judges will address, because their all partisan, unconstitutional and illegal) entrenchment in U.S. politics and their control between them of all U.S. donors, media, courts, and even electoral agencies, and creating a "duopoly" of rigged and unfair elections (like ones that American diplomats complain about in many nations abroad), and the sharp social and cultural division at every level of society and endeavour they've inspired in the American people are THE worst threat, in the long term, to the United States as a nation - the Achilles' Heel of an otherwise great nation - a festering wound tearing about the nation from within, but near impossible to realistically remove, a FAR greater threat than any foreign nation, ideology, or terrorist group. If the common American people TRULY want liberty, prosperity, and the American dream, the Duopoly as a whole must go first.

I don't know how many people actually want to be diehard Democrats or Republicans (except those who benefit financially,or are elitist heads) I am a wild mix of A democratic Socialist Libertarian-But my political career I will be running as a Democrat,otherwise I just would not win. Even if I don't identify fully with the party,or either of the parties corrupt,substandardly moral actions.

That's exactly part of the problem I'm talking about, and why the United States REALLY needs to get rid of the corrupt, entrenched, entitled, election-rigging Duopoly who repeatedly screw over, fail,  and lie to the American people again and again, and then smugly watch as the voters crawl back to them at the ballot box at the next election. The U.S. voters need to get together and have a "clean hands" electoral event and voters' revolt like they had in Italy in the '90's - including embracing the mottos of that event, such as "no new faces with old baggage," that is, not settling for fresh new candidates who nonetheless carry the party name, logo, organization, slush funds and donors (the last two often of corrupt, plutocratic sources) as the old parties themselves.

That's one of my goals someday,to finally have a third party as an option,with other leaders to support it,of course it would be completely rejected and cornered by the two major parties,but one can dream.

Unfortunately, I fear, I almost certainly won't get what I want here, which is a real disappointment... :(
