So 3 brokered conventions as November fundraising begins. Lets break down some money. 

 

We will only keep track of those that qualify for all 3 parties nominations. I am posting that shortly. (Meaning that Buchanon and Gary Bauer and so on wont be kept track of because cash on hand doesnt matter at this point, as they are ineligible to receive the nomination)

Since 15 Democrats ran and none dropped out, it will be quite a lot of math to add the finances up for everyone. So I will only be doing it for the top 5 candidates that 'qualify' for the nomination. Its gonna be a messy convention.

Since you don't seem to have made a complete list of Democratic candidates at the start of the thread, I must ask - is Jackson as in the Rev. Jesse Jackson, or a different Jackson?

Ballot 1.

No Majority. 

Round 2

LaRoauche is removed

His 1 delegate goes to....Dennis Kucinich. 

Round 3

No one has a majority

Dennis Kucinich is removed and his 5 delegates go to Jesse Jackson. 

Round 4

No majority

Paul wellstone is removed and his 6 delegates go to Jesse Jackson. 

Round 5

Howard Dean is removed and his 32 Delegates go to Joe Biden. 

No majority.

Round 6

Gary Hart is removed and his 52 Delegates go to Al Gore

We still fo not have a majority. 

Round 7

Hillary Clinton is removed and her 133 delegates go to Bob Kerrey. 

Still no majority. 

Round 8. 

Jesse Jackson is removed amd his 192 delegates go to Ted Kennedy

Still no majority. 

Round 9

Dick Gephardt is removed and his 269 Delegates go to John Kerry

Still no majority

Round 10. 

Bob Kerrey is removed from the voting and his 328 delegates go to Joe Biden

Still no majority. 

Round 11

Ted kennedy is removed amd his 390 Delegates go to John Kerry

Round 12 

Al Gore is removed from the running and his 641 Delegates go to Bill Bradley

And we still have no majority.

John Kerry is removed and his 1080 delegates go to Bill Bradley. 

 

Bill Bradley has won the Democratic convention.

Ron Paul is removed amd his 1 Delegate goes to Bob Smith

Steve Forbes is removed and his 2 delegates go to George Pataki

No Majority

Round 4 

George Bush is removed and his 6 delegates go to John Mccain

No majority

Round 5 voting

Gary Bauer is removed and his 12 delegates go to Orin Hatch

No majority.

Round 6

Bob Smith is removed from the voting in his 82 delegates go to George Pataki

No majority

Round 7

John Mccain is removed from the voting and his 796 Delegates go to George Pataki.

 

Pataki is the nominee

Pataki picks Christine Todd Whitman as his running mate
