Agreed. That's counter to the core beliefs of Socialism. Maybe it was fundamentalist capitalists dressed as Socialists?

There is much room for investigation.

1. Yes, absolutely meet with this man to try and get the automotive industry to flourish here in America. Hopefully it can help our economy!

He proposes a simple plan.

1. His company builds new roads for the most part, along with the Federal Government when it comes to interstate commerce.

2. Once completed, States/Federal Government can take over and maintain the roads if they so please aslong as they pay maintenance.

3. Toll roads are out of the picture for now, as this industry can't be stifled.

2. A promise is a promise. We will pay off the farmers debts with this fund.

Farmer are happy, as 80% of their excess debts will be paid for by the end of this term.

3. We will blockade France but not Italy. All other countries can freely trade through the Canal.

France is dismayed, but we are currently hostile with the current beneficiary of this Canal anyway.

4. This is a tragedy. President Rothschild delivers a speech memorializing the brave workers that have passed and the amazing first responders. Striking is a part of America but violence is not. Pursue fire regulation laws and a law that gives permission for law enforcement to break up a strike that turned violent.

Congress:

1. Approve of a law mandating that every city with more than 2,500 people be obligated to have at least one fire station, volunteer or not.

2. Approve of a law mandating that law enforcement is legally obligated to break strikes that turn violent.

@Reagan04 @Conservative Elector 2 @vcczar

Pinging you all once, but everything marked Congress is proposed.

In other news, reports are showing that while it was still a radical a force that committed such an act, local media pinned it on the socialists due to the rise of socialism in the city. It was likely committed by anarchists or fascists.

5. The Administration will work to propose regulations that will help the safety of these underground trains. Cave ins must be prevented.

Congress:

1. Approve of a law mandating that prior to all underground tunnels open to consumer traffic, a Federal investigator must determine that such tunnels are safe following Federal law. The safety laws are simplified in this case: the check is to determine if the tunnel is in good shape and can withstand train traffic without collapsing.

2 hours ago, Hestia11 said:

6. We support these measures and endorse a Nationwide Park Service that will be working to ensure that these areas are conserved properly and any restoration that might be necessary.

Congress:

1. Approve of the Nationwide Park Service, a combination of State and Federal land protections preserving the environment for future generations to love and enjoy.

2 hours ago, Hestia11 said:

7. Unfortunately, the Republicans were our best hope but now they are a useless force. Send a larger number of munitions to the Monarchists so they can end this war quickly.

2 hours ago, Hestia11 said:

9. In exchange for munitions going to the Monarchists exclusively we ask for the most coveted islands in the Pacific (don’t know what their names are currently)

The monarchists, in exchange for increased arms, offer to let the U.S. take control of French Polynesia as long as they can take it over for themselves, since it is still in communist hands.

2 hours ago, Hestia11 said:

8. We propose a moderate tariff on countries that have left our free trade agreements and a high tariff on Italy, but begin trading with them.

The tariff is therefore increased, to begin to pay off the debt.

2 hours ago, Hestia11 said:

10. Propose talks with Canada that could settle this. Ask if Americans could freely travel along a trail that leads to Alaska.

The Canadians will only agree to this right now if they can charge the Americans a small fine for every entrance into their borders.

OOC: I give my views but I would like you to wait on @Reagan04 because he is our party leader and as non-American I might see some issues different to the mainstream belief.

Senator Talbot outlines the Conservative position.

1: This is beneficial for all inhabitants of our wonderful cities. As it is not mandated to keep a professional fire department we do not foresee any problems contrary to our Conservative core principals of personal responsibility and small government. We would like to add that at the latest the control of all the fire departments should be with the Governor.

2: We view it as beneficial to give our law enforcement agencies all the required powers to maintain order, justice an civilized control of our cities. The Conservative Party always works for the safety of our citizens. Violence is absolutely wrong and inconceivable under all circumstances.

3: Although we are against Government over regulating us, I think that at the end our people are more happy when they are going safe through the tunnels. Additionally this is important for the industries when transporting goods, so they will not get lost and destroyed. I would like to see it handled on state level nonetheless.

4: We should handle this at in a very small capacity on state level. That is not an issue for the federal government to intervene.

My party's voters have feared the destruction of beautiful wildlife in the West for awhile now. There's plenty of land left out here, so our party has no problem endorsing this bill.

I encourage the president to be tougher on Canada. A fine?! A toll is acceptable.

The Conservatives will push this through as long as it is specified that these fire stations are locally controlled, not federally.

We are more than happy to pass a Pro-Business policy such as this through.

We'd prefer that these regulations be passed at the state level and that only those trains regarding interstate commerce. We will use our legislative pluralities to push this amendment to include only interstate trains as opposed to intrastate lines, we also again remind the Congress that we should be pushing for total denationalization of such industries.

The Socialist Party does hereby declare that internal investigation has led to the conclusion that the Great Chicago Fire Riot was instigated by forces outside of the Socialist Party, and that the vast majority of the members attending the riot were not card carrying socialists by any party registry.

Rep. Eric Dobs: "The Great Chicago Fire Riot was a false flag operation, meant in some way to stifle the support of Socialist support in the United States of America for some reason or another. There is sufficient doubt being placed over the membership of most rioters, and the very act of rioting is contrary to the core beliefs of the American Socialist. America's greatest peaceful protests have had their beginnings in socialist philosophy, from the egalitarianism of the black man's equality to the outcries for welfare for Civil War Veterans. Our movement is one of peace, one that opposes violence and that opposes war. We would never harm an individual, and the American Worker is best friend of the American Socialist. It is ludicrous.

It has been made clear to us that some organization intended to use this mass loss of lives to their political advantage, and The Socialist Party does hereby propose to President Rothschild ( @Hestia11) that an independent investigation be held into the riot, and despite our conflicting beliefs with the Conservative Party ( @Reagan04 ) we believe that we will have their full support in bringing the perpetrators of this tragedy to justice, as this attack on Chicago was more than an attack on socialism and on workers nationwide, it was an attack on America herself.

Speaker Rodgers is more than happy to ordain an investigation to prove yet again that it was indeed Socialist agitators at fault, the Socialist Party's investigation will not be used and will be thrown out for being partisan, we will have a fair investigation just as the State of Illinois conducted and found the Socialists at fault, I find it rather likely we shall as well. Socialism has no place in this nation and is a bane to the American Worker, Middle Class, Family Man, and Business Owner. This is yet another example as to why.

@Hestia11 President, the following bills have passed and are on your desk:

1. The Fire Safety Act, which mandates that every city with more than 2,500 people be obligated to have at least one fire station, volunteer or not.

2. The Strike Safety Act, which permits law enforcement to break a strike if it turns violent.

3. The Tunnel Train Act, which requires all tunnels to be approved by either State or Federal safety officials. Federal guidelines are basic, and simply state that the tunnels must be stable and within reason will stay stable for at least a decade without major maintenance.

4. The National Park Service Act passes, which makes it so the Federal Government can zone portions of land to be protected for environmental protection.

In other notes, a non-partisan investigation has reached preliminary findings that the attack was planned by a group of anti-capitalists, which consist of a wide variety of ideologies. This will severely rise the skepticism of undemocratic ideals, including socialism. The investigation can be pursued further to try to pin the exact ideology of the attack's leaders, but does the President believe enough has been done?

Plus react to the other events requiring action.

We need to have all heads in the room. We want a meeting with the Speaker (lead of Conservatives) and with the Progress leader to quietly talk about a proposed invasion of French Polynesia.

On the roads, we agree with Gord.

We will use the tariffs as a victory

This seems agreeable, as it is Canadian territory and not our own.

The Labor Party strongly condemns the President for indiscriminately blaming anti-capitalists and "radicals" for the attack while the investigation has only come up with preliminary findings.
