Payed as Ralph Nader. McCain and Obama won in contested conventions. Obama picked Wesley Clark as VP and McCain chose Jeb Bush.nader_raider.PNG.8f57a0b987c0cad90751b30aabb9e998.PNG

Yes. A double-Neo-Con ticket winning in the political environment of 2008 seems highly unlikely. Especially if the VP is George W. Bush's younger brother and the new President is feared may croak at any moment (which probably cost him moderate GOP votes in RL 2008 because of Palin being on the ticket).

Not well enough to win the election. Obama in 2008 was the first Democratic Presidential candidate since Jimmy Carter in 1976 to outright win over 50% of the total popular vote AND the Electoral College in the same election (Clinton fell just short of the popular vote in 1992 and 1996 because of Perot, but still beat Bush, sr., and Dole in the Electoral College, respectively, and Gore beat Bush, jr. in popular vote in 2000 and was cheated in the Electoral College by the corrupt, criminal Supreme Court decision). Also, McCain, conceded before election night was over, which was the first time such a concession had happened in a U.S. Presidential Election up to that point in the 21st Century (as it had not happened in 2000 or 2004).
