Patine 35 Report post Posted December 30, 2017 @LegolasRedbard On the note of this particular election, I had recently been reading about a Conservative MP from Glasgow from around this period named Teddy Taylor, who was on record as the ONLY sitting Tory MP to lose his seat in Thatcher's first electoral victory as Conservative leader in 1979. If i'm correct he once publicly advocated for Nelson Mandela to be shot. He died in September, which I heard through my local Conservatives (somehow, even though i'm not a member).
