PA has an odd mix of ideologies in its senate. This sort of represents the diversity in which Pennsylvania accepted at it's creation.

A very interesting one would be Vermont or Louisiana. Vermont went from being one of the mist republican states to the most democratic. Louisiana has had a history of electing "populists"

Indeed. I would also consider South Carolina being one of the next states.

old post but got to point out at one point we had a pro choice republican and a pro life democrat at the same time as senator.
