As some false flag attack; that they're doing such a bad job on purpose to make government look bad and anarchism appealing at least by contrast? That would be one of the more plausible or should I say less implausible conspiracy theories (my personal favourite being one that said all the conspiracy theories people know about just exist to distract attention from the real conspiracy theory). Wiw 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2017 Time has run out. Despite our efforts, the FCC has voted to repeal. There'll be an appeal by Congress though, there always is - only I can't see any hope... nothing will have changed.

My reasons for believing such 1) this came after a mess of an input period which included a cyberattack and millions of stolen identities used to promote anti-net neutrality messages and more than 10,000 messages from Russian e-mail addresses. 2) They didn't respond to FOIA requests during this period (a lawsuit has already been filed over this) 3) Pai will need to prove that there is an objective benefit to repeal net neutrality before the courts. He's facing an uphill battle.

Along with several million political, military, police, intelligence, religious, and corporate leaders in almost every nation of significance in the World? So am I not holding my breath. In the modern day only a few African warlords, former Yugoslavian military and political leaders, and old men who commit their crimes back in the Second World War are EVER brought in for war crimes and crimes against humanity anymore, and the groups who do so congratulate themselves thoroughly for each and every one, when so many, even many currently regarded as heroes in major nations in the world today, get off scott free, and are even lauded and not seriously considered as the vile criminals by so many. It's a sick injustice.

Too bad cooperation from the courts, Congress, and the brain-washed masses of much of today's population won't be so easy to realistically achieve. But read your 3 points, and read what Justice White wrote, alot of similarities.

Besides, the original Anglophone population of what are now Ontario and New Brunswick (two of the original four provinces of Canada as of 1867) were United Empire Loyalists, or denizens of the 13 Colonies in the 1780's who retained loyalty to the Crown or for other reasons didn't want to live in newly created United States. Frankly, I'll be honest. Canadian living standards, contentedness, social functionality, "happiness index," and human rights observation are statistically superior here to the U.S., and, all-in-all I find this country FAR preferable in atmosphere, culture, and outlook than the U.S. Lower taxes and the right to bear arms are not a lure or a selling point as far as I'm concerned, and what else is there as a social and cultural "highpoint" really. The problem with Socialism is eventually you run out of other people's money. Give the Federal Government management of the Sahara Desert and within 5 years there will be a shortage of sand. Free health care as a policy didn't originate in Marxist-Socialist-Communist circles and governments, and wasn't originally part of their platform. Marx never mentioned such a thing, and Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and actual leaders of Communist states never instituted or had such systems - they had "workfare health care;" that is, your health care package was based on how hard you were viewed as working, how productive you were, and loyal you were to the State, but without the plutocratic privilege of such shelling out rubles or yuan to jump the line. Even most early socialist parties in Western nations, like the Social Democratic Party of Germany, the Socialist Labour Party of America, the Socialist Party of America (under Debs), the VERY early British Labour Party, the SFIO in France, etc., did not have, or advocate such a policy, originally. It was actually David Lloyd George of the UK and Otto von Bismarck of Germany, both VERY right-wing leaders by our modern standards, who first implemented the concept of welfare and government health care programs. Another myth debunked!
