I'll take Sherrod Brown.

Hopefully, he's a steal of a late 4th round pick.

My two draft picks are: Jerry Brown of California, and Harry Brown of the North Carolina state senate- might as well make a big gamble.

Probably shouldn't ask, so I can draft him, but how would you weight Bloomberg?

From his public appearances or will you factor in what Bloomberg weekly also print, since he is the owner?

We're all going to weight the politicians from who we think, as a group, is the most and least influential politicians in 2017. Bloomberg is definitely a wild card in this.

2017 Political Season Rosters:

Please note that I updated the scoring for the league below, since Trump would too easily dominate otherwise, and would be virtually guaranteed to win by himself (sorry Sunny). I've also included a hypothetical scenario to show you how the scoring could turn up.

@Sunnymentoaddict: Trump, Manchin, Haley, J. Brown, H. Brown

@lok1999: Pence, Sanders, Conway, Comey, Ellison

@CalebsParadox: P. Ryan, Biden, Priebus, Sh. Brown, Gowdy

@TheMiddlePolitical: McConnell, Bannon, Flynn, Cuomo, T. Ryan

@Reagan04: Anthony, Roberts, Price, Heitkamp, Duckworth

@jvikings1: Sessions, Pelosi, Carson, Paul, H. Clinton

@JohnnyK: Tillerson, Schumer, Ron Johnson, Blunt, Bloomberg

@Conservative Elector 2: Mnuchin, Ivanka Trump, Cruz, Yellen, Angus King

@Sanser2016: McCain, Warren, Rubio, Sasse, Booker

@vcczar: Obama, Mattis, Graham, Franken, S. Collins

2: Hypothetical Scenario for 2017

A:  Owners and fans at the end of 2017 will vote on the 10 major political events of the year. Politicians (no more than 3 per event) tied to those events will be awarded 5 points. If only one real major politician is tied to the event, then they will get 10 points.

Let's say the events end up being:
Impeachment, but aquittal (Trump, Warren, Cruz)
Abuse of Power (Trump)
Election Reform (Warren, Sanders, Paul)
Treaty with Russia (Trump, Tillerson, McCain)
Syria Humanitarian Aid (Trump, Tillerson, Graham)
Obamacare Reform (Ryan, Warren, Price)
DNC Reform (Sanders, Warren, Ellison)
New Justice (Trump, Rubio, Warren)
Immigration Reform (Trump, Ryan, Rubio)
Successful LGBT rights fillibuster (Warren)

B: Owners and fans will rank the top 50 politicians in order of who they thought was the most influential to least influential in 2017 at the end of the year. 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 45, 3rd 40, 4th 35, 5th 30, 6th 25, 7th 20, 8th 15, 9th 10, 10th 5. 11th-20th will get 3 points. 21st-40th will get 1 point. 41st-50th will get negative 2 points each.

Let's say our ranking ends up going something like this:
Trump, Tillerson, P. Ryan, Warren, Rubio, Cruz, Ivanka Trump, Bannon, Priebus, Kennedy, Schumer, McConnell, Mnuchin, Flynn, Mattis, Roberts, Price, Sessions, Sanders, McCain, Haley, Graham, Franken, Conway, Paul, S. Collins, Sh. Brown, Sasse, Heitkamp, Booker, Pelosi, Ellison, Gowdy, Carson, Manchin, Ron Johnson, Duckworth, Pence, Yellen, Obama, J.Brown, Cuomo, Blunt, T. Ryan, A. King, H. Clinton, Comey, Biden, Bloomberg, H. Brown

C: Individual awards will get 5 points each unless otherwise noted:

Let's say it ends up being like this:
Most Valuable Politician (10 points) Trump
Most influential executive branch member (non-president) Tillerson
Most influential legislative branch member Ryan
Most influential judicial branch member Kennedy
Most influential politico not attached to the three major branches Yellen
Most influential Republican (non-president) P Ryan
Most influential Democrat Warren
Most influential Independent Sanders
Republican Rookie of the Year Tillerson
Democratic Rookie of the Year Duckworth
Comeback Politician of the Year Cruz
Politician that Most Exceeded Expectations Tillerson
Most Disappointing Politician of the Year (negative 5 points) Obama
Most Scandalous Politician of the Year (negative 10 points) Trump
Most Favorable Politician of the Year (10 points) Sanders
Least Favorable Politician of the year (negative 10 points) Trump
Resignation, removal or death in office (negative 10 points) Pence
Impeachment, arrest or censure (negative 10 points) Trump

Hypothetical Result:

Sunny's Team:
D Trump 60
Manchin 1
Haley 1
J Brown -2
H Brown -2
Total = 53

Lok's Team:
Pence -9
Sanders 23
Conway 1
Comey -2
Ellison 6
Total = 19

Caleb's Team:
P Ryan 56
Biden -2
Priebus 10
Sh Brown 1
Gowdy 1
Total = 66

TheMiddle's Team:
McConnell 3
Bannon 15
Flynn 3
Cuomo -2
T Ryan -2
Total = 17

Reagan's Team:
Kennedy 10
Roberts 3
Price 8
Heitkamp 1
Duckworth 6
Total = 28

JViking's Team:
Sessions 3
Pelosi 1
Carson 1
Paul 6
H. Clinton -2
Total = 9

Johnny K's Team:
Tillerson 80
Schumer 3
R Johnson 1
Blunt -2
Bloomberg -2
Total = 80

Conservative Elector's Team:
Mnuchin 3
I Trump 20
Cruz 10
Yellen 6
A King -2
Total = 37

Sanser's Team:
McCain 8
Warren 75
Rubio 40
Sasse 1
Booker 1
Total = 125

VCczar's Team:
Obama -4
Mattis 3
Graham 6
Franken 1
S Collins 1
Total = 7

Result: Sanser's team wins rather convincingly in this scenario. If Trump avoided scandal in this hypothetical, then he would have been the highest scoring politician, but the Sunny's team would have still lost to Sanser. In this hypothetical the teams win in this order: Sanser (125), JohnnyK (80), Calebs (66), Sunny (53), Conservative (37), Reagan (28), Lok (19), Middle (17), JViking (9), VCczar (7)
