Hi guys, :)

I have created some new state map and I hope I can encourage you to make cool scenarios with it. :D Thanks.

Have fun, any feedback is welcome! More will come, when I have time for it to do them. Cheers!

You can now create scenarios of the states of:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Colorado
  • Delaware
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Kansas
  • Maine
  • Mississippi
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska
  • North Dakota
  • Oklahoma
  • Oregon
  • South Dakota
  • Utah
  • Wyoming

Luki :)

yay!

Looking forward to my home state of Minnesota! I think a 2008 Coleman v Franken election would be fun. Or a 2010 Governor's race of Dayton v Emmer. Both EXTREMELY close races.

I know, but all Minnesota maps I saw, are too big and if I change their height, I cannot change the color of the boundaries to black (0,0,0) so easily...

Will do Nebraska next. :)

Thanks for this. I was waiting for Kentucky since I live there and want to make a 2015 governor scenerio.

Oh man, do one for the current senate race also, or the recent Mitch senate race a few years back.

Where do you source your maps from?

I've been trying to find ones for Malaysia and Singapore, but it seems they aren't available, so I'd like to construct them myself.

Wikipedia usually has decent maps of pretty much every modern sovereign nation, and many historic ones (and historic eras of current ones) subdivided into their top-tier administrative subdivisions. I know that college and university papers don't allow Wikipedia as a source, but it's good in a pinch for certain resources such as that for these sort of games.

Do we have a Maryland map? I'd love to make a 2014 Gubernatorial and 2016 senate because they are the elections that give my party hope for victory in my state, I actually volunteer on Kathy Szeliga's campaign and wold be honored to make a scenario with her in it as I've met her many times and would love to see in  the Capitol Building, Of Course I would apply no bias towards Van Holle as that would breach my integrity but anyway I would love to get my hands on a Maryland map @Conservative Elector 2 !

Thank you for the Ohio one. I look forward to creating a Portman (R) vs Strickland (D) Senate race. Maybe you should make Florida next? I want to do a Rubio vs Rocky, or whomever the Democrats decide to elect.

As @Patine said it's Wikipedia. To be exact: I took always the ones on the left side: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kartenwerkstatt/Positionskarten/Nordamerika#Bundesstaaten_2

@ThePotatoWalrus Florida's map on this page was too big to be created for that game. If I lower the size it doesn't work with the game engine anymore. To make it work, I have to re-color the brown borders in black. When I change the size, the brown is splitting in various shapes and I can't re-color it easily.

For Ohio: You're welcome. :)

@Reagan04 Maryland's map was pretty tiny on this page: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kartenwerkstatt/Positionskarten/Nordamerika#/media/File:Maryland_Locator_Map.PNG Therefore, I didn't make it. Sadly, I have no experience in making maps from other sources. If you think, the size is enough, I can do it - but I don't know if it would look that great...

@ThePotatoWalrus I found this map from one of Patine's scenarios that were produced a few years ago:

Ah, yes, the one from my old Florida 2010 Senate scenario for P4E2008. A lot of people said it lasted too long (as in number of turns), and had too many endorsers available, but I hope the map is useful.

@Conservative Elector 2, yeah I see what you mean, can you use this one? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Location_map_USA_Maryland

If not I understand and just would urge you to keep your eyes peeled! Thanks anyway for the response and your time!:D

Maryland just has a very strange and awkward geographical shape. But, when the Lord Baltimore gets bullied in the land grab by William Penn and the Royal Governors of Virginia in the formative days of these borders, such things can happen...

Trust me, as a historical junkie I know all about how my state became a quagmire of political games and later on, gerrymandering under one Gov. Martin O'Malley.

I looked at your map @Conservative Elector 2 it was pretty good except Baltimore and by Extension 10.76% of the state's people and 26.3% of its Democrats were gone, giving the Republicans a distinct advantage....... wait I'll keep it on 2nd thought!:P
