Alberta PC and Liberal Leadership Races

Recommended Posts

I'm currently toying with the ideas of Alberta PC and Liberal leadership race scenarios, as both parties are having such races this year. While Danielle Smith and Brian Mason remain steady in their party's leadership (the Wildrose Alliance and Alberta NDP, respectively), and Glen Taylor has just recently secured the Alberta Party's leadership, these two races remain the two 'wild cards' of a provincial election likely to occur this fall or early next year. The candidates are:

Alberta Progressive Conservative:

-Doug Griffiths

-Doug Horner

-Gary Mar

-Rick Orman

-Alison Redford

-Ted Morton

-Thomas Lucaszuk (off-by-default, at least for now)

Alberta Liberal:

-Laurie Blakeman

-Bill Harvey

-Hugh MacDonald

-Bruce Payne

-Raj Sherman

Thoughts, ideas?

Question. Should I have the same issues and stances for both races, and just make PC candidates more right-leaning and Liberal candidates more centrist and left, or should I adapt the stances and/or even issues to each party?
