UK General Election 2010

Recommended Posts

GOP, there's a lack of clarity with some of the candidates photos, which could be better. Good choice of alternative candidates. Gameplay as Labour was pretty good. Had about a 10 seat lead with over 2 weeks lefts, until I was running low on finances. The Sun should at least be leaning Conservative, and so should the Express, not leaning to Labour.

thetrotsky, my email is treasurerofthepc@yahoo.com

Fixed the NI ridings issues to increase accuracy and merged the TUV with Veritas instead of UKIP. Anyone who wants it just say.

Thank you. Please send this to me and TheorySpark ( http://www.theoryspark.com/interact/contact.htm ).

Yeah, I'll admit the NI ridings are the weakest part due to a lack of polling and other information.

The official scenario also fixes the photo issue clarity. And I have fixed the endorsers with The Times being undecided and the Sun leaning Conservative.

All right, I did a playthrough as Nick Clegg of the Lib-Dems. I managed to get 22% of the vote but only 55 seats, which did seem a bit low (chiefly because I ran out of money- the tories won the election as they were like 1 or 2 seats short of a majority). Do you guys think I should give the Lib-Dems more money, or does 50% of Labour's (and 42% of the Tories) seem accurate?

I would just stay where you are on the finances. Without the surge from the debates, the Lib Dems would've probably flatlined at the election, and lose a good handful of their seats. So seems accurate to me.

Fair enough, and we'll see how the rest of the election pans out (I heard Clegg and the LD's are having anemic fundraising despite "Clegg-mania").

I'm wondering also, if Labour and Conservative finances are down too, with it being the recession and the expenses scandal. Plus, with the emphasis on cuts and paying off the national debt, it's not really a good idea to break the bank with a new record of campaign expenses. I might be wrong though, when the figures come out.
