That's alright GOP. Matvail, the map isn't based on Yukon, it is a mergance of Canadian and Russian Provinces. It looks more Canadian though.

All right, there has been some progress on it so far- the ridings are about 25% complete and everything else is done.

One question though: Should I have endorsers or not?

I think you should have endorsers, yes. Whom? Maybe labour unions, radical pro-privatization groups, the Rocentian Orthodox Church, a mega-corporation which runs a lot of Rocentia's services, the military. Those are a few ideas.

Thanks, I will definately try this once I get to the official beta-testing phase (ie sending it to players). Treasurer just needs to fix the map, and I'll get on it.

I think this is one of your best ones, i gained quite alot early on due to the free ads, but it remained neck-and-neck as i had to wind down on the ads, for a slight lead and win, although i was 1 ad over into debt. I didn't use the default leaders for 2 top parties. My only complaint is it didn't take long to win so many regions, but some refused to budge. I guess it's possible to win on a strong lead, so it's got quite good replay value. I'll take that!

Thank you Treasurer,

Well you did a lot of grunt work on this scenario and I couldn't have done it without you! You are getting a co-author credit.

The scenario is now finally ready for beta-testing. I will consider putting events and endorsers, pursuiant to player feedback.

This scenario's quite good, though the map resembles a map of Canada drawn by Dr. Seuss. ;) I do kind of like the mix of English and Russian influences in names, though the Anglo element isn't much represented in the party selection flavour (the parties are very Russian in feel). The game plays well, though I'm only halfway through my first playtest, I'm leading with the PSP. I'll give you more when I finish the game.

I want to recant this, at least partially. The Christian Conservative Party is quite in the ways of being an Anglo-style party, though the others are still very Russian in feel.

The Patriotic Union is supposed to be too, but it's a merger of Anglo-Sovereigntists and Russian extreme Nationalists.

The Democratic Center is also about 50-50 Russian-English, it's party leaders are Russian (Roberts is half) but most of its votes from Anglos.

But yeah, I did put a Russian feel to it just because some people have wanted to do Russian scenarios although Russian elections haven't been very competitive at all since 1999 (and even then, were only competitive in 1996).
