  1. Title. I can never seem to get very far due to low character stats/lack of debates/etc. Anyone have success?
  2. "Not Seeking" and "Undeclared"

Hi all, I haven't played in a while, but I was playing a primary in PI the other night and started my candidate as "Not Seeking." I was wondering what the difference between "Undeclared" and "Not seeking" was. Additionally, I was wondering what kind of tasks a candidate could do as either of these categories. For example, I was wondering if there is a way to make offers/deals with other candidates even before entering the race. In this, it would be, for example, offering yourself as a surrogate to another candidate if they move their issue position, etc. Anyway, really what I'm asking for is, is there a breakdown of what a player can do as an undeclared or not seeking candidate? Thank you!
  3. Tutorial??

A while ago there was talk, possibly from @admin_270 or @potato_walrus, about a tutorial, or game walk-through, FAQ, manual, etc. There are still many things about the game that I find confusing, like just for an example: Barnstorming vs. Rallies, how to understand some of the screens, what effect events, and spin, and things like that have, and overall strategy. Maybe it could be a team effort. I could certainly contribute some of the more basic stuff.
  4. Tennesse Senate 2018

With Incumbent Senator Bob Corker retiring and the political landscapes favoring the anti-establishment candidates, many political strategists are seeing this race as very competitive. Marsha Blackburn, well-known conservative activist and representative of Tennessee's 6th Congressional District, has declared her candidacy. In her announcement, she cited her frustration with how many Senate Republicans act like Democrats, and the intention to make the Republican majority act as one. Andy Ogles, former Director of the Tennessee chapter of Americans for Prosperity, has also declared his candidacy citing his background of being a committed Conservative Christian. In these uncertain times and given the turmoil within the Republican Party, this race is very much a wild card. Who will come out on top and become the next Senator from Tennessee? Who would be interested in a Tennessee Senate 2018 scenario?
  5. I recently purchased the Mac version of President Infinity. So far, everything seems to run perfectly in the general election. However, when playing in the primaries, the entire game will just close. It usually takes about 30 minutes or so of game play and then it just shuts down, usually as the week is progressing and you're waiting to see the news stories and all...occasionally the game will close while making an ad as well. I have no idea how to fix this. Could it be as simple as requesting a redownload? Are there any known fixes? It's incredibly frustrating and makes it essentially unplayable.
  6. Joint Prez/Congress Game???

I'd love to see a joint President/Congress Infinity game (2016 Infinity maybe?), where you can use the Party money you've raised for as the Presidential nominee for down-ballot races. While I don't have Congress Infinity yet, I think that this would add a whole different dimension to both games, and ensure a huge following. I know I'd buy this!!!

  8. So, I'm very interested in starting up a project to create some of the swing Senate elections for 2016, particularly New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. I have seen/played the Nevada and Arizona scenarios and really enjoyed them, however, I've only ever made scenarios with the general election map, and they were for my eyes only. I'd really appreciate feedback/pointers as I get this started!
  9. Another very small bug I believe.
  10. Instruction Manual?

I don't mean to complain, but I have to give some feedback here... I have a very good initial impression of President Infinity, but I have deep concerns about the complexity of the game. On many screens I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking at. I'm sure at the heart it's just basic information but it's displayed in what seems like a shorthand code. In the help section of the website we get a document that goes over the basics, and there are Q & A sections but they're not nearly detailed enough to match a game of this complexity. What I’d humbly like to request is a detailed tutorial that goes screen by screen and "dummies down" what everything means. We get a lot of screens with so much information but there are confusing abbreviations that aren't explained at all. I applaud the fact that there are many dedicated users who are willing to help, but if I posted all my questions to this forum it would probably take up 10 pages minimum. I mean I literally don't even know where to begin on some of this. For example on the endorsers screen alone we have that table, "Bush 10th : 0" | " Clinton: 77" | 2 | and then the blue and red bar? I have no clue what any of this means. On policy speech and ad screens you see things like "Government spending High +-". What in heck does this mean?? What are endorsers, why do we need them? What is the difference between CP and PIP? What are CPs and how do you get them? What do all those columns mean? Why do we need to re-do endorsers every term? And that’s just for one screen. I understand we want to have as much reality as possible so you want to get into all the aspects of campaigning but in gaming sometimes there comes a point where less is more. So much information gets crammed in there that it results in a steep learning curve and users give up. Again, this looks like a game I can really get into, but I need to understand it first and that is the main obstacle. My suggestion for future versions is to at least simplify the interface so there's not so much information overload. If giving more details on, say, the endorsers screen means splitting up into two screens, that's a fair price to pay IMHO.
  11. When the general election starts, a popup says that the amount of times a state has been visited has been set to zero and so I won't receive penalties. But I can't find any documentation about these penalties for visiting a state too much? What is the amount of times you can rally in a state before it starts having a negative impact? And when the nomination is locked up, I can't seem to rally in states for the GE without it hurting polls until that number is set to zero, which can be months and months, is it safe to skip weeks without action between winning the nomination and the convention? Thanks all!
  12. My Experience

Yesterday and the day before, using the latest version, I attempted to destory Hillary Clinton as Bernie Sanders in the 2016 election. I was unsuccessful, however, a number of issues I have not noticed before popped up, as well as a few I have seen before. One being that after I became Hillary's VP, every turn, a "Press okay to start turn" (something similar) box popped up. I understand this for the first time, however, after awhile it gets a little minor problem. Second, I got trounced in the general election, despite winning most Democrat endorsements, leader debates. I even lost historically Democrat dominated states, (VT, NJ). Third, when I went to create a national ad, two pages of "Ad, ad label, ad type-) showed up. That is all it said, then I would have to click the down arrow twice to create and access ads. Forth, highscore no longer save for some reason. I cleared the historic high scores so I could have room for mine, but it no longer saves, despite having really good playthroughs. I hope these issues can get addressed. Thank you.
  13. South Dakota - 2004 (Senate) Beta

Hi guys, finally it is possible to play a South Dakota scenario. I know there are a lot of things to do (%s, population, what-if's,...), but hey it is now able to create your own SD scenario (you're allowed to use the map). I hope I can encourage you, to do so! Cheers! Playable SD candidates: Tom Daschle John Thune Any feedback is welcome, thanks! Luki
