I’m out and about for most of the evening so don’t wait on me. If it still hasn’t been decided when I get home tonight I’ll look at the sheet and pick someone.

I've been quietly following along with you guys! Looks like a ton of fun and great job coming up with all this vcczar.
  7. Just wanted to say I've been following along quietly and you guys have inspired me to order the board game as soon as my budget allows. Thoroughly enjoying this.
  8. Wow that's something. I'm actually playing through it right now with Trump (so effectively simulating the Democratic primaries) and Beto took Iowa and is leading with the most momentum as well in New Hampshire. Sanders has fallen to 0.7% nationally and Biden is down to about 5%.
  9. One thing that I've tried in the past is playing the top of the ticket race first and then adjusting the starting percentages for the down ballot scenarios based on the results of that but I still wasn't really all that satisfied with the results.
  10. I did. I think you did a terrific job on those.
  11. This is a terrific tool! Thank you so much for sharing it. One possibility in regards to the uncontested seats would possibly be setting the opposing party to "on ballot" and setting the starting percentages to whatever the PVI of the district is. Not sure how much impact that would have be it might help to normalize things a little at least.
  12. I'm making some pretty solid progress with the scenario I'm working on but I've run into a problem. It's a city council race in a small town so I've effectively reduced the amount of money involved and I've even managed to edit the xml to reduce ad costs and the costs of the activities and targetting, footsoldiers, etc. The problem I've run into is I can't find where to edit the cost of rallies and running a rally bankrupts any campaign. Am I just overlooking this somewhere?
  13. Sounds like a plan. Thanks!
  14. So I would just edit those values in the xml and then test it until I get something that seems right?
  15. Oh I have a good idea from pulling up the campaign finance filings about how much money I want. I'm asking about what I need to edit in the game to reduce the amount of money earned from fundraising and the cost of activities and ads, that sort of thing. Basically I'm asking how to take the research I've done for this scenario and put it into the campaign I'm creating so I don't have million dollar local races.
  16. I'm working on a campaign for a local city council race and I was wondering if someone could explain the best way to go about scaling the money down to make it into realistic amounts. Any help is much, much appreciated.
