  1. Even though IRL I would never vote for Hillary - I think she loses the nomination far too often. My other pet peeve is Ron Paul. How in the world does he always end up with 15+ percent of the vote and often carries big states like California and Texas... IMO not possible IRL.
  2. I responded to the email with this note - wondering if someone can help me with these issues I had: Hello there, I hadn't used these much up to this point, but gave it a shot last night. Just a few questions about money: 1) Do I lose all money I don't spend during the primary season? It just seems to disappear. 2) I ran out of money in the general election really quickly compared to the regular scenarios. I think the ad money must have been much higher and I didn't even notice, and then 3) there was no fundraising oppurtunties after the conventions? I had run out of money and then was stuck in one spot for the rest of the game (no background fundraising was done either). Also two more things: 1) What do the town halls do? 2) with all the events happening by the end of the game 75% of the issues are in the very important category, and that's not very realistic. IMO Thanks for all the hard work there. Another intersting note was that Fred Thompson has no available crusaders... I think it's impossible to really win without crusaders...
  3. Thanks Monk. I had no idea this was the case. I had only ever played regular scenarios and I guess this is setup differently there. I actually had never had to "develop campaign" EVER for any game I had played up to now... and really I forgot about it
  4. I tried the game using the updated scenario as Newt. I was quickly stopped as it seemed that 7 CP wasn't enough to do anything other than the standard barnstorming, issue study, debate practice, etc. If I wanted to do "Research", Create campainers, etc... It took up WAY too many CPs. I don't remember the game being this difficult... or am I hallucinating?
  5. Same here as well. I would love to get the update. chris.r.copeland@gmail.com
  6. As far as I know the problem with Republicans being able to select their VP properly after the convention is still broken as well. As I had reported several times once the convention is held you have to choose your VP with NO information on their abilities. Then since the general election has already started the change VP button doesn't exist. It makes it unplayable this way. I still win anyway, but I would like to be able to see the VP attributes when I am making selections.
  7. Very - but who knows - that could very well turn out to be accurate. He has some momentum now... but who knows what dirt Clinton will dig up on him.

  9. I think that is pretty much exactly what happened to me. I wish I knew what was causing it... i just seem to find all kinds of these issues without looking for them. I just want to get all the way to the election for ONCE!
  10. Hey there, I had a massive bug happen to me last night (I seem to be a magnet for these)... I was playing as Guiliani and it was down to me and McCain for the nomination. I easily had him beat for the nomination (by like 400 delegates). However he refused to concede before the convention... The convention came and went and still no concession... So when it flipped over into the general election phase... the map went from being red/white/blue to ALL BLUE and the percentages from each state didn't add up to 100%... McCain was still listed as a candidate in the players button... and I started getting a list index out of bounds... Am I the only one who plays as a Republican candidate? I have yet to get to the election because of these various issues. NOTE: Another bug is that you cannot change your VP at the convention... once you pick them it says to use hte change VP button to change them... but no such button exists. Thanks... I wish I could play but currently ... this is unplayable.
  11. Sent an email - but I am still getting list index out of bounds errors. This time 2 weeks from the election I cannot go to the next turn/save/anything. Not sure at all what is causing the issue. This looks almost identical to the problem I had before this version.
  12. My email is chris.r.copeland@gmail.com. Thanks!
  13. Just another note that I ran as a Republican again to test out the convention issue. Here is what I see happening: 1) You can CRUSH your opponent in the primaries and they will NOT cede to you unless you offer them the VP spot 2) This time I didn't given in to see if the convention would occur - and it didn't 3) Candidate was left with no money, no vp, and no cp... it was at 2/2 or 1/2. I dont have any custom scenarios ... can't find them... The California issue occurs in the stock campaign on the non-beta version. California is more difficult, but I was able to flip it from Clinton to Guiliani w/o too much trouble. Not sure if that is realistic or not.
  14. Another issue is if you play a Republican candidate and pick your VP prior to the convention - it seems the convention is never held. Which means for some reason that you never get funded... I also for some reason got stuck with only 1/2 CP per turn and couldn't do anything. Clinton my opponent was able to spin, barnstorm, and other things each turn... Also it now seems like California doesn't flip as easy - good. However, I do have a problem in that Clinton has one the primary in every scenario I have ever run. Is this intentional?
